Your product key is your access to all the features you need to start using the application. Before you can being using the application you must activate your license using the product key you received. Your license must be active so that you can perform operations like running scans and creating reports. If you received an error message when you tried to activate your license you can try the troubleshooting techniques identified below before contacting Technical Support.

Product keys are good for one use; if you are performing the installation for a second time or if you receive errors during product activation and these techniques have not worked for you, contact Technical Support.

Try the following techniques to troubleshoot your activation:

Did I enter the product key correctly?

  • Verify that you entered the product key correctly.

Is there an issue with my browser?

  • Confirm the browser you are using is supported. See for a list of supported browsers.
  • Clear the browser cache.

Are my proxy settings correct?

  • If you are using a proxy server, verify that your proxy settings are correct because inaccurate settings can cause your license activation to fail.
    • Go to the Administration page and click Managesettings for the Security Console to open the Security Console Configuration panel. Select Update Proxy to display the Proxy Settings section ensure that the address, port, domain, User ID, and password are entered correctly.
    • If you are not using a proxy, ensure the Name or address field is specified as updates.rapid7.com. Changing this setting to another server address may cause your activation to fail. Contact Technical Support if you require a different server address and you receive errors during activation.

Are there issues with my network or operating system?

  • By running diagnostics, you can find operating system and network issues that could be preventing license activation.
    • Go to the Administration page and click Diagnoseand troubleshoot problems with the Security Console.
    • Select the OS Diagnostics and Network Diagnostics checkboxes.
    • Click Perform diagnostics to see the current status of your installation. The results column will provide valuable information such as, if DNS name resolution is successful, if firewalls are enabled, and if the Gateway ping returns a ‘DEAD’ response.
  • Confirm that all traffic is allowed out over port 80 to updates.rapid7.com.
    • If you are using Linux, open a terminal and enter. You will see if traffic is allowed.
    • If you are using Windows, open a browser and enter
      http://updates.rapid7.com. You should see a blank page.
    • White-list the IP address of the application server on your firewall so that it can send traffic outbound to http://updates.rapid7.com.
    • Make the same rule changes on your proxy server.
    • If you see an error message after adding the IP address to a white-list you will need to determine what is blocking the application.

Are there issues with firewalls in my network?

  • Confirm that host-based firewall and antivirus detection are disabled on the system you are installing the application on. See Using anti-virus software on the server in the administrator’s guide for more information.
  • Ensure the IP address of the application server is white-listed through firewalls and content filters. This will allow you to reach the update server and pull down any necessary .jar files for activation and updates.

Have I tried everything?

  • Restart the application, in some cases a browser anomaly can cause an error message that your activation failed. Restarting may be successful in those rare cases.

DJI will soon introduce a new application activation process for international customers. This new step, to take effect at the end of next week, ensures you will use the correct set of geospatial information and flight functions for your aircraft, as determined by your geographical location and user profile. All existing flight safety limitations, such as geofencing boundaries and altitude limits, remain the same.

Even if you have registered when activating your aircraft upon purchase, you will have to log in once when you update the new version of DJI GO or GO 4 App. If you have forgotten your password since your initial login, you can reset it using a function within the DJI GO and DJI GO 4 apps.

You will need a data connection to the Internet for your smartphone or tablet when you log in, in order to verify the account information and activate the updated software or firmware. If this activation process is not performed, the aircraft will not have access to the correct geospatial information and flight functions for that region, and its operations will be restricted if you update the upcoming firmware: Live camera streaming will be disabled, and flight will be limited to a 50-meter (164-foot) radius up to 30 meters (98 feet) high.

The feature applies to all aircraft (except standalone A3 and N3) that have been upgraded to the latest firmware or when using future versions of the DJI GO and GO 4 apps.

Step 1. Verify if your edition of Windows 7 is eligible for ESU

  1. Select the Start button, type Computer in the search box, right-click on Computer, and then select Properties.
  2. Under Windows edition, you'll see the version and edition of Windows that your device is running. ESU are available for Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Ultimate.

Step 2. Verify that you have all the Windows 7 Updates installed

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel, and then click System and Security.
  2. Click Windows Update.
  3. In the left pane, click Check for Updates.

Activating licenses

This section describes how licenses are activated in Milestone Customer Dashboard and used in XProtect VMS installations.

After you purchase an XProtect VMS product, you receive an email that includes a software license code (SLC) and a software license file (.lic). Here is how each is used in Milestone Customer Dashboard:

  • Software license codes (SLCs) identify purchases of Milestone XProtect VMS solutions. Each role (distributor, reseller, integrator, and end-user) can only register a license once.
  • Software license (.lic) files are associated with SLCs and are used to activate and configure XProtect VMS installations

You must activate licenses after you:

  • Install an XProtect VMS product with a registered software license fine print software file
  • Add hardware devices in Management Client
  • Add or modify XProtect VMS plug-ins and add-ons
  • Add Milestone Interconnect™ sites
  • Upgrade to a newer version of your XProtect VMS product, including service releases

Depending on whether your system is connected to the internet, use the online activation or offline activation process to activate licenses:

  • Online activation is the recommended method if the system can access the internet. Online activation automates the process of activating device licenses (see Use online activation)
  • Offline activation lets you activate licenses if the system cannot access the internet. Offline activation requires additional steps to activate licenses (see Use offline activation)

Get a software license (.lic) file in Milestone Customer Dashboard

If a software license code (SLC) is registered in Milestone Customer Dashboard, you can get the associated software license (.lic) file that is used when installing a VMS system.

To get a software license (.lic) file:

  1. Log in to Milestone Customer Dashboard (https://online.milestonesys.com/).
  2. Select Customers or Licenses in the main menu.
  3. On the Customers page, double-click a customer, then double-click an associated License (SLC). Alternatively, double-click an SLC on the Licenses page.
  4. Select Download initial .lic file to download the license file directly, or select Email initial .lic file to open the Email initial license file dialog to send an email containing the license file to one or more recipients.

The license (SLC) must be associated with a product version 8.1 or newer and must not be a plug-in license in order to provide a software license (.lic) file.

Install a VMS system with a registered software license (.lic) file

If you are installing an XProtect VMS system for the first time, and you have purchased and registered a software license code (SLC), you can import your software license (.lic) file in the XProtect VMS product installer.

To import a software license (.lic) file:

  1. Find the downloaded license file on your computer. Alternatively, find the email with the software license file attached and copy the license file to your computer.
  2. Run the XProtect VMS product installer.
  3. In the Select license file window, select Browse, locate the software license file, then select Continue.

After you add devices, you must activate device licenses for them. Depending on whether the system is connected to the internet, follow the steps for Use online activation or Use offline activation.

About the grace period and changes without activation

After the system is licensed using a license (.lic) file, you can add devices and use them for 30 days without activating device licenses for them. To continue to use the devices after 30 days, you must activate the device licenses.

You can change a certain number of cameras without having to activate device licenses again, called Changes without activation. The number of changes that you can make is refreshed annually and is based on usage conditions, such as your XProtect VMS product and the number of device licenses that you have purchased.

To view your changes without activation:

  1. Open Management Client.
  2. Select License Information.
  3. In the License Details - Current Site section, the number is shown under Changes without activation.

Use online activation

If your system has access to the internet, you can turn on automatic license activation in Management Client. The system can be set to activate device licenses whenever it detects a change, for example, after you add devices, or only after you manually start the online activation process.

When adding devices for the first time, you must manually start online activation. After you start online activation, you can turn on automatic license activation in Management Client.

Start online activation manually

  1. In Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information.
  2. Select Activate License Manually, then select Online.

  3. Enter the user name and password for your My Milestone account, then select Next.
  4. Select Finish to activate the licenses.

To set up automatic license activation, in Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information. Select the Enable automatic license activation check box and enter the user name and password for your My Milestone account.

After you add a device, automatic license activation might take a few minutes to reflect the changes.

Use offline activation

After you import your software license file and add devices in Management Client, if your XProtect VMS product is not connected to the internet, you can use offline activation to activate device licenses.

To prepare for offline activation, you need a portable storage device, such as a USB flash drive, and a computer with access to the internet.

To use offline activation:

  1. Export a license request (.lrq) file from Management Client.
  2. Activate the license request file in Milestone Customer Dashboard.
  3. Receive an activated license (.lic) file in an email, and then import the file into Management Client.

The license request file contains information about your XProtect VMS system. For example, it contains the number latest software system - Activators Patch hardware devices for which to activate licenses.

To export a license request (.lrq) file:

  1. In Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information.
  2. At the bottom left-hand side of the main workspace, select Activate License Manually > Offline > Export License For Activation.

  3. Save the license request (.lrq) file to a portable storage device.
  4. Connect the portable storage device to a computer with internet access.

  1. Log in to Milestone Customer Dashboard.
  2. Select Customers & Licenses, then select Activate .lrq file.

  3. Select Activate .lrq file, and then find the license request (.lrq) file that you saved on the portable storage device.
  4. Optional: By default, the activated license file is sent to your email. To add more email recipients for the activated license file, enter the recipients' email addresses in the Enter additional recipients (optional) field and select Add.
  5. Select Upload.

Receive an activated license (.lic) file in an email and import the file into Management Client

After you receive an activated license file, import the file into Management Client to update your software license information.

To import the activated license file:

  1. Copy the activated license file from the email to your portable storage device, and then connect the portable storage device to the computer where Management Client is installed.
  2. In Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information.
  3. Select Activate License Manually > Offline > Import Activated License.

  4. Find the activated license file on the portable storage device and select Open.

  • Verify the current status of activation servers.
  • Determine if an activation server is unresponsive, needs software updates, or needs activations renewed.

To check the status of activation servers:

  1. At the right of the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, click the up arrow to show hidden icons.
  2. Click the Rockwell Activation icon Rockwell Activation icon.
  3. Click Check Servers Now. The Activation Server Status box lists the name of the activation servers and the status of each server. A server can be in the following states:
    • Unresponsive. Indicates that the computer is not communicating with the activation server due to a problem with the server or the connection to the server.
    • Needs update. Indicates the server is not running the latest version of FactoryTalk Activation. Contact your system administrator to install the current version of FactoryTalk Activation.
  4. Click Close.

Activation of license renewal to continue getting software updates in Xeoma system security software

Depending on what license for Xeoma system security you buy, you might get a 1 or 3 years period of free software updates for free. What does this mean? Xeoma system security software is being actively developed. New features, sometimes even unique ones, are being added every day. Every once in a while we release new versions of Xeoma with improvements and new features. If you have several expired Xeoma licenses and one renewal for them all and you need to activate them anew (for example, after move of the surveillance system to another machine), you will need to activate all license serials and a renewal in one go or each expired license with the renewal or in pairs based on the priciple “Expired license1 + Renewal, then Expired license2 + The Same Renewal”.

Example: suppose you have expired Xeoma license #1 and its serial number is LICENSESERIALNUMBER1, and then you have an expired Xeoma license #2 with the serial number LICENSESERIALNUMBER2, and a renewal that prolongs them both – RENEWALSERIALNUMBER. To activate them, you need to activate them all in one go like

We have identified a price discrepancy with the Windows 7 Extended Security Updates available through the CSP channel. As of Tuesday, December 10, we have fixed the discrepancy to ensure that all commercial customers have the same suggested retail price for the Windows 7 ESU. Now, the ESU price that CSP partners see will align to the pricing offered through our volume licensing channel since April 2019."

Step 1. Verify if your edition of Windows 7 is eligible for ESU

  1. Select the Start button, type Computer in the search box, right-click on Computer, and then select Properties.
  2. Under Windows edition, you'll see the version and edition of Windows that your device is running. ESU are available for Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Ultimate.

Step 2. Verify that you have all the Windows 7 Updates installed

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel, and then click System and Security.
  2. Click Windows Update.
  3. In the left pane, click Check for Updates.
  4. Allow for updates to download and install and then check for new updates again to make sure there are no new updates.

Step 3. Make sure all your Windows 7 computers that need to be ESU-enabled are connected to the Internet.

ESU MAK Phone activation was recently added as an option for non-Internet-connected devices. This article doesn't describe that activation process.

Step 4. Check the instructions below and think if you would be able to install and activate the Win7ESU keys yourself?

Step 5. Purchase a required number of Win 7 ESU 2020 and/or 2021 licenses

  1. Windows 7 ESU 2020 -- Year 1
  2. Windows 7 ESU 2021 -- Year 2, you must own the same number of Year 1 licenses!

Microsoft 365 / Azure AD tenant name will be required to place an order for ESU licenses. It's ok if you don't have one. We will register a tenant for you. It's free and with no strings attached. If you have a tenant and want to use it -- make sure you complete a questionnaire after you place your order.

Usually, it takes about a day to process an ESU order. When an order is processed you will receive an email with MAK (Multiple Activation Key).

Step 6. Check your mailbox and Junk Mail folder for an email from us with the activation key.

Depending on what office process the order, the email with the key may come from one of the following domain names: itpartner365.com.

When you have the key you are ready for the next step.

Step 7. Install and activate ESU 2020 on your Windows 7 computers

  1. Install the ESU product key using the Windows Software Licensing Management Tool (slmgr):
    1. Open an elevated Command Prompt.
      1. Click Start
      2. In the search box, type cmd.
      3. Right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as Administrator. If done properly, the below User Account Control window opens.
      4. Click Yes to run the Windows Command Prompt as Administrator.
    2. Type slmgr /ipk and enter your ESU MAK key and press Enter. Make sure you have spaces between slmgr and /ipk and your MAK key. Your slmg command should look like this: slmgr /ipk A7B6D-N3D1F-J34ND-LP3NA-32BNA
    3. If the product key installed successfully, after a short delay you will see a message similar to the following:
  2. Next, find the ESU Activation ID (77db037b-95c3-48d7-a3ab-a9c6d41093e0):
    1. In the elevated Command Prompt, type slmgr /dlv and select Enter.
    2. Note the Activation ID as you will need it in the next step.
    3. It should be 77db037b-95c3-48d7-a3ab-a9c6d41093e0. It's the Activation ID for the year 2020.
  3. Now, you'll activate the ESU product key:
    1. Open an elevated Command Prompt.
    2. Type slmgr /ato 77db037b-95c3-48d7-a3ab-a9c6d41093e0 and press Enter.
    3. Once you have activated the ESU product key, you can verify the status at any time by following these steps:
      1. Open an elevated Command Prompt.
      2. Type slmgr /dlv and select Enter.
      3. Verify Licensed Status shows as Licensed for the corresponding ESU program, as shown below: {width="535" height="295"}
    4. Once activated, continue to use your current update and servicing strategy to deploy Microsoft Windows Security Updates through Windows Update, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Microsoft Update Catalog, or whichever patch management solution you prefer. You will receive updates until the end of 2020.

Step 8. Install and activate ESU 2021 on your Windows 7 computers

The installation and activation steps are exactly the same as for the Year 1 of ESU above. The only difference is that you use a different MAK key and different activation ID.

Troubleshooting the Windows 7 ESU Purchasing, Installation and Activation Errors

Error: 0xC004F050 The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is invalid.

Solution: Install all the Windows Updates. Restart the computer. Check for Windows Updates one more time to ensure your computer is up to date. Disable any third-party antivirus and/or firewall software. Try installation and activation one more time. If you have problems with your Windows Updates subsystem -- please try this Microsoft Article.

Question How many activations are left on your ESU MAK key?

SolutionSource: Microsoft Windows 7 ESU FAQ -- Customers can determine the remaining activations on a MAK key using VAMT:

  1. Launch the VAMT.
  2. In the left-side pane, select the Product Keys node.
  3. In the center pane, find the ESU Add-on MAK key. The remaining activation count is displayed in the Remaining Activation Count column.

Question If an organization waits and purchases ESU for the first time in Year 2 or Year 3, do they have to purchase licenses for the preceding year(s) as well?

Solution Yes. Because the updates are cumulative, organizations do have to pay for the preceding years if they purchase Windows 7 ESU for the first time in year two or year three. That is, customers must have purchased coverage for year 1 of Extended Security Updates in order to buy year 2, and coverage for year 2 in order to buy year 3. Customers may buy coverage for previous years at the same time they buy coverage for a current period. It is not necessary to buy a certain period of coverage within that coverage period.

      The Cisco ISR G2 comes with a 60-day evaluation license. After 60 days, the license changes to “right to use”. The customer is required to pay for the CME-SRST feature license which is valid for 12 years.

      Activating licenses

      This section describes how licenses are activated in Milestone Customer Dashboard and used in XProtect VMS installations.

      After you purchase an XProtect VMS product, you receive an email that includes a software license code (SLC) and a software license file (.lic). Here is how each is used in Milestone Customer Dashboard:

      • Software license codes (SLCs) identify purchases of Milestone XProtect VMS solutions. Each role (distributor, reseller, integrator, and end-user) can only register a license once.
      • Software license (.lic) files are associated with SLCs and are used to activate and configure XProtect VMS installations

      You must activate licenses after you:

      • Install an XProtect VMS product with a registered software license (.lic) file
      • Add hardware devices in Management Client
      • Add or modify XProtect VMS plug-ins and add-ons
      • Add Milestone Interconnect™ sites
      • Upgrade to a newer version of your XProtect VMS product, including service releases

      Depending on whether your system is connected to the internet, use the online activation or offline activation process to activate licenses:

      • Online activation is the recommended method if the system can access the internet. Online activation automates the process of activating device licenses (see Use online activation)
      • Offline activation lets you activate licenses if the system cannot access the internet. Offline activation requires additional steps to activate licenses (see Use offline activation)

      Get a software license (.lic) file in Milestone Customer Dashboard

      If a software license code (SLC) is registered in Milestone Customer Dashboard, you can get the associated software license (.lic) file that is used when installing a VMS system.

      To get a software license (.lic) file:

      1. Log in to Milestone Customer Dashboard (https://online.milestonesys.com/).
      2. Select Customers or Licenses in the main menu.
      3. On the Customers page, double-click a customer, then double-click an associated License (SLC). Alternatively, double-click an SLC on the Licenses page.
      4. Select Download initial .lic file to download the license file directly, or select Email initial .lic file to open the Email initial license file dialog to send an email containing the license file to one or more recipients.

      The license (SLC) must be associated with a product version 8.1 or newer and must not be a plug-in license in order to provide a software license (.lic) file.

      Install a VMS system with a registered software license (.lic) file

      If you are installing an XProtect VMS system for the first time, and you have purchased and registered a software license code (SLC), you can import your software license (.lic) file in the XProtect VMS product installer.

      To import a software license (.lic) file:

      1. Find the downloaded license file on your computer. Alternatively, find the email with the software license file attached and copy the license file to your computer.
      2. Run the XProtect VMS product installer.
      3. In the Select license file window, select Browse, locate the software license file, then select Continue.

      After you add devices, you must activate device licenses for them. Depending on whether the system is connected to the internet, follow the steps for Use online activation or Use offline activation.

      About the grace period and changes without activation

      After the system is licensed using a license (.lic) file, you can add devices and use them for 30 days without activating device licenses for them. To continue to use the devices after 30 days, you must activate the device licenses.

      You can change a certain number of cameras without having to activate device licenses again, called Changes without activation. The number of changes that you can make is refreshed annually and is based on usage conditions, such as your XProtect VMS product and the number of device licenses that you have purchased.

      To view your changes without activation:

      1. Open Management Client.
      2. Select License Information.
      3. In the License Details - Current Site section, the number is shown under Changes without activation.

      Use online activation

      If your system has access to the internet, you can turn on automatic license activation in Management Client. The system can be set to activate device licenses whenever it detects a change, for example, after you add devices, or only after you manually start the online activation process.

      When adding devices for the first time, you must manually start online activation. After you start online activation, you can turn on automatic license activation in Management Client.

      Start online activation manually

      1. In Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information.
      2. Select Activate License Manually, then select Online.

      3. Enter the user name and password for your My Milestone account, then select Next.
      4. Select Finish to activate the licenses.

      Enable automatic license activation

      To set up automatic license activation, in Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information. Select the Enable automatic license activation check box and enter the user name and password for your My Milestone account.

      After you add a device, automatic license activation might take a few minutes to reflect the changes.

      Use offline activation

      After you import your software license file and add devices in Management Client, if your XProtect VMS product is not connected to the internet, you can use offline activation to activate device licenses.

      To prepare for offline activation, you need a portable storage device, such as a USB flash drive, and a computer with access to the internet.

      To use offline activation:

      1. Export a license request (.lrq) file from Management Client.
      2. Activate the license request file in Milestone Customer Dashboard.
      3. Receive an activated license (.lic) file in an email, and then import the file into Management Client.

      Export a license request (.lrq) file from Management Client

      The license request file contains information about your XProtect VMS system. For example, it contains the number of hardware devices for which to activate licenses.

      To export a license request (.lrq) file:

      1. In Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information.
      2. At the bottom left-hand side of the main workspace, select Activate License Manually > Offline > Export License For Activation.

      3. Save the license request (.lrq) file to a portable storage device.
      4. Connect the portable storage device to a computer with internet access.

      Activate a license request (.lrq) file in Milestone Customer Dashboard

      1. Log in to Milestone Customer Dashboard.
      2. Select Customers & Licenses, then select Activate .lrq file.

      3. Select Activate .lrq file, and then find the license request (.lrq) file that you saved on the portable storage device.
      4. Optional: By default, the activated license file is sent to your email. To add more email recipients for the activated license file, enter the recipients' email addresses in the Enter additional recipients (optional) field and select Add.
      5. Select Upload.

      Receive an activated license (.lic) file in an email and import the file into Management Client

      After you receive an activated license file, import the file into Management Client to update your software license information.

      To import the activated license file:

      1. Copy the activated license file from the email to your portable storage device, and then connect the portable storage device to the computer where Management Client is installed.
      2. In Management Client, in the Site Navigation pane, expand Basics, and select License Information.
      3. Select Activate License Manually > Offline > Import Activated License.

      4. Find the activated license file on the portable storage device and select Open.

      PRTG Manual: Activate the Product

      PRTG Network Monitor automatically activates your license via the internet during the installation process. If PRTG cannot directly connect to the internet and therefore cannot access the activation server, you have to manually activate your license.

      i_round_redYou have to complete the product activation process once to use PRTG, otherwise it does not run. Do not forget to activate your commercial license when you want to upgrade your Trial Edition or Freeware Edition installation.

      Online Activation

      Usually, you do not need to manually enter a key after the installation to activate it because PRTG asks for it during the install process. However, there are still scenarios where you need to change your key and activate the respective license. You have to provide your Commercial Edition license key, for example, if you have purchased a Commercial Edition and want to upgrade your running Freeware Edition or Trial Edition, or if you upgrade a Commercial Edition license to a higher edition.

      1. To enter a new license key, log in to the PRTG web interface.
      2. Select Setup

        Check the status of activation servers

        Use Activation Server Status to:

        • Verify the current status of activation servers.
        • Determine if an activation server is unresponsive, needs software updates, or needs activations renewed.

        To check the status of activation servers:

        1. At the right of the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, click the up arrow to show hidden icons.
        2. Click the Rockwell Activation icon Rockwell Activation icon.
        3. Click Check Servers Now. The Activation Server Status box lists the name of the activation servers and the status of each server. A server can be in the following states:
          • Unresponsive. Indicates that the computer is not communicating with the activation server due to a problem with the server or the connection to the server.
          • Needs update. Indicates the server is not running the latest version of FactoryTalk Activation. Contact your system administrator to install the current version of FactoryTalk Activation.
        4. Click Close.

        DJI Updates Process For Activating Software And Firmware Updates
        New Procedure Requires Login After Update; Password Reset Available

         

        DJI will soon introduce a new application activation process for international customers. This new step, to take effect at the end of next week, ensures you will use the correct set of geospatial information and flight functions for your aircraft, as determined by your geographical location and user profile. All existing flight safety limitations, such as geofencing boundaries and altitude limits, remain the same.

        Even if you have registered when activating your aircraft upon purchase, you will have to log in once when you update the new version of DJI GO or GO 4 App. If you have forgotten your password since your initial login, you can reset it using a function within the DJI GO and DJI GO 4 apps.

        You will need a data connection to the Internet for your smartphone or tablet when you log in, in order to verify the account information and activate the updated software or firmware. If this activation process is not performed, the aircraft will not have access to the correct geospatial information and flight functions for that region, and its operations will be restricted if you update the upcoming firmware: Live camera streaming will be disabled, and flight will be limited to a 50-meter (164-foot) radius up to 30 meters (98 feet) high.

        The feature applies to all aircraft (except standalone A3 and N3) that have been upgraded to the latest firmware or when using future versions of the DJI GO and GO 4 apps.

        DJI encourages pilots to always follow applicable laws and regulations in the countries where they operate, and provides information about these regulations on its FlySafe website at flysafe.dji.com.
